We are thrilled to share an exciting glimpse into the future of our band program!

After more than 11 years of dedicated service, our current uniforms have truly stood the test of time. However, as with any well-used piece of performance equipment, they are beginning to show their age. The average life expectancy of a marching band uniform is 8–12 years, depending on frequency of use, climate conditions, and maintenance. At 11+ years old, our uniforms have reached (and in some cases exceeded) their recommended lifespan. Fabric wear, fading, fit limitations, and aging materials all signal that it is time to begin planning for the next chapter.
We are excited to unveil a new uniform design that we hope to purchase in 2027! This fresh look represents more than just updated style; it symbolizes growth, pride, and the continued elevation of our program.
Over the next two years, we project our band will grow to well over 100 members. Our current uniform inventory simply cannot accommodate a band of that size. As our numbers increase, so does our need for a uniform set that matches both our membership and our musical excellence.

Investing in new uniforms is also a strategic step toward one of our most ambitious goals: within the next five years, we plan to submit an application to march in the prestigious Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City. Bands selected for this national stage are expected to demonstrate not only musical excellence, but also professional presentation and uniformity. Securing a new uniform package brings us one step closer to turning that dream into reality.
In the coming months, we will begin soliciting support from:
- Band alumni
- Local city businesses
- Civic organizations
- Sponsors and partners within government
- Friends and supporters of the arts
This is more than a uniform purchase, it is an investment in our students, our community, and our future.
We cannot wait to share more details about the design, fundraising efforts, and ways you can help. Together, we will build the next era of pride, excellence, and tradition within the Warner Robins High School Demon Marching Band.
The future of our band is bright, and it looks incredible!
Sincerely,
Ernest Stackhouse
