We are proud to congratulate Adebayo and Ignacio on their outstanding achievement in being selected for the GMEA Southern Region Honor Band!
Adebayo earned the prestigious honor of 1st Chair Tuba, and Ignacio secured 4th Chair French Horn — an incredible accomplishment that reflects their dedication, musicianship, and hard work throughout the year.
The Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) Southern Region Honor Band represents some of the finest young musicians in the region, and we are thrilled to see our students recognized at this level.
The event will be hosted by the Fine Arts Department of Valdosta State University at Whitehead Auditorium, located inside the University Student Center.
