The Warner Robins High School Demon Band is proud to announce its annual Summer Band Camp, taking place from July 7th through July 17th (No Fridays) on the Warner Robins High School campus. This much-anticipated event offers a dynamic and enriching experience for student musicians as they prepare for the upcoming marching season.
Under the leadership of Mr Ernest Stackhouse and the Warner Robins Band staff, the camp will feature a lineup of outstanding guest clinicians, including Mr. Chris Jones of March Aerobics, renowned for his high-energy approach to marching fundamentals and fitness, and Ms. Tameka Ham of Darlington, South Carolina, a respected choreographer known for her excellence in flag work, dance instruction, and youth empowerment. Additional clinicians, with expertise across music education, visual performance, and leadership development, will round out a team committed to providing top-tier instruction for all participants.
Throughout the 7-day camp, students will participate in intense music rehearsals, drill instruction, sectionals, and leadership training—all aimed at elevating their performance skills and building unity within the band.
The camp will culminate with a Parent Showcase on July 17th at 5:00 PM, where families, friends, and community members are invited to witness the impressive progress and hard work of the campers. The showcase promises a spirited performance, giving students the chance to demonstrate their growth and set the tone for a successful marching season.
The Warner Robins High School Demon Band invites all interested individuals to join them for this week of development and fun! For more information, please contact the Warner Robins High School Band Department at http://www.wrbands.org.
